Every response follows a consistent, versioned schema. Named fields, typed values, clear units. No HTML scraping, no image parsing, no undocumented changes.

Dev and Partner plans explicitly include redistribution rights. Your device can display Convek data to end users with clear licence terms and downstream safety disclaimer requirements.

Four updates per day

Model runs at 00z, 06z, 12z, and 18z UTC. Predictable update schedule so your device knows exactly when to re-fetch.

Why Convek, and why now

SkySight and TopMeteo are map products - they're designed for pilots squinting at a browser, not for instruments that need structured data. They have no developer API, no redistribution rights, and no interest in changing that.

RASP UK is the closest thing to public soaring model output, but it's an image service with no structured data access and no licensing path for commercial integration.

Convek was built to fill that gap. The API is designed from the ground up for programmatic access, with commercial licensing built into the plans from day one. UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, and Czechia are live at 4 km. Spain is benchmarked for the next release, and the wider European set is queued behind it.
